The Beginning
In the early 1990s, at just 19 years old, Dave co-founded the Toe Jam Night Spot — a nightclub in Southern California that became a launching pad for many DJs and artists who went on to achieve national and international success. The Toe Jam wasn't just a venue; it was a scene. It shaped Dave's ear for what moves a room, what builds energy, and what keeps people coming back.
The Industry Years
After the nightclub years, Dave transitioned into the professional audio industry. He held executive roles at companies that define modern studio sound — KRK Systems, Cerwin Vega, Electrix Pro Audio, PSSL/ProSound & Stage Lighting, Solotech, and Centryn Group. These weren't peripheral gigs. These were companies whose monitors sit in studios around the world, whose speakers have powered countless shows.
Those experiences deepened his understanding of sound engineering, music production, and the business side of the industry in ways that most producers never get.
